I have a Abit AI7, 2.6c, 1 gig of kingston HyperX BH5 (2x5120), 1 36gb raptor, 1 74gb raptor and a eVGA 6800 GT. I've been stupidly running this at 200mhz 5/4 250 FSB. Recently I decided to try 1:1 FSB. I can get her stable at 240 FSB 2-2-2-6. But when I open up Doom 3 there is artifacting or tearing (not sure the definition of either) all over. The GT is running at stock speeds. When I slowly reduce the FSB down, the tearing/artifacts beings to fade. At 228/229 or so its gone. What can be causing this? I' have the AGP/PCI set to a fixed clock. Is my ram getting too hot? Would you guys recomend loosening the timings on the BH5? I know its not the CPU temp, because at full load it only gets to 120-125F. This is driving me nuts. Thanks in advance.

I would guess memory, not really heat, you are pushing it pretty hard at that speed and those tight timings. See what happens at 2.5 3 3 8 (what FSB you can get before the tearing starts.. )

feed it more voltage...its bh5.. it can take all your mobo can give :p
