I have been reading the anandtech doom 3 cpu article. I am now concerned with my cpu, I was wondering if anybody has a setup similar to mine and could tell me how it's running? or any general comments are welcome too.

My system

t-bread Xp 2600+ @2.31 ghz (12.5*185) = 370 FSB
Epox 8rda Nforce 2
Corsair ddr 3200pro (512 Megs X 2) = 1 GIG
EVGA 6800 GT
SB Audigy Gamer
antec true blue 480 watt psu
 
Looking at your specs I don't see any real reason to be "concerned" imo..
