How do I run the benchmark and fps counter? I can use the cheats, but nothing else. Is there something I need to do to the doom3.exe?
 
To run the time demo do this.. enter the consol (hit ctrl+alt+~)

type
Timedemo demo1

to show your fps ingame type

com_showfps 1

to shut if off its

com_showfps 0
 
Has anyone recorded one of their demos and then tried to convert it to AVI using the console? I have not been able to get it to convert.

tried using both

avidemo

avidemo demo000.demo


And I get a new folder created in the demos folder as if something was to be there, but alas i was foiled. Any suggestions?
