I think I'm done overclocking this thing and I'm happy at where its at.
-Asus A8N-SLI Premium
-Athlon 64 3700+
-OCZ Platinum 2GB
-Leadtek 7800GTX 256MB
-OCZ ModStream 520w
And here are the details of the OC:
Timing Mode: Manual
>Memclock index value: 400 mhz
>Cas latency (TCL) : 2.5
>Min ras active time (TRAS) : 7
>Ras to Cas delay (TRCD) : 3
>Row precharge time (TRP) : 3
>Row Cycle time (TRC) : 16
>Row refresh cycle time (TRFC) :22
>Read-to-write time (TRWT) : 2
>Write recovery time (TWR) : 2
>1T/2T memory timing : 1
>S/W Dram over 4gb remapping : Disabled
>H/W Dram over 4gb remapping : Disabled
>
>Hyper transport frequency : 4x
>Amd K8 Cool'nQuiet : Disabled
>
>Jumperfree Configuration:
>
>Overclock profile: Manual
>CPU frequency : 246
>PCI Express : 100mhz
>DDR voltage : 2.8
>Chipset voltage : 1.6
>HT voltage : 1.25
>CPU multiplier : 11x
>CPU voltage : 1.500
>PCI clock syncronization mode : 33.33mhz
So that puts me at 2706MHz.... from the stock 2200, I think its a good overclock. I've been running Prime95 and Super-Pi as well as numerous game stress tests and I havent encountered any problems (250 and up seem to be quite unstable though)
I just want to know if this is safe to run at at all times. The other night my friend told me that I shouldn't keep my video card overclocked at all times (I usually just do Detect Optimal Frequencies) because it will burn it out. So that concerned me over the rest of the computer. Since I'm overclocked, is it safe to leave my computer on all the time? I usually leave it on when I go to sleep, etc... its only off when I'm transporting or modifying it.
My idle temp runs anywhere from 26-30c, and my load is usually from 38-40c. I have a thermalright xp-90c on the processor.
Thanks ;D
