Well guys, I can't get a response from king_n through PM or otherwise to get news postings and stuff like that going on hardfolding.com. In my opinion, we *need* information like that. , and an official home for the [H] icons. I'm not talking full out stats.... extremeoc pretty has that locked down. Simple current stats, icons, how to's, install guides, contests, recruitment efforts and the like.

My problem is I can't come up with a domain name. Here are some ideas. All of these are verified to be open. I think anything we do here will need administrative approval... if anything so I dont get sued by kyle :D .

I don't honestly think we need a new domain. Just to get access changed so that active people can post on hardfolding.com.

I can't step away for a few days, did it ever occur to anyone that *perhaps* I might be working out the new bugs created when the server was brought down for a PHP/MySQL upgrade, possibly that there might be some incompatibilities? I've been working on the coding, updating things, something that has kept me awake now for almost 120 hours now.

Here's the deal CIWS and relic are in charge of the news, I am in charge of the site's coding itself, something that is *never* finished, I'm constantly upgrading things non stop.

hardfolding.com has *everything* the 2 [H] teams need and more, not to mention it is the *official* team site.

And for the record I *AM* active, just because I don't post here in the forums does not by any means say I'm inactive.

See what I mean? Stop being negative, I'm just trying to help. This is the third time you've gone off on me. I know you've been active, thats my point. You only respond if its critical of the site, even constructively. I PMed you on the 11th, you've posted more than once since then. Even now, you found this post but no response to my PM. If you or CIWS or relic are not up for updating the site, let some people on who are.

The last news is from a freakin year ago. It took half as long as that to get the site back up..... come on. What on earth could have been that severe that it takes several months to bring back online? I leased a server and programmed an entire discussion forum in the time it took the site to come back online.....

Let's just get this thing going... we're on the same team here and we all want progress.
 
I *do not* control the server, that is part of the [H] servers, I had *absolutely* NO control over getting that straightened out other then contacting Kyle(which I did) then talking with the server admin when he had time. What was I supposed to do track down where the server is located, break in, and fix it myself?

Also for your information there was current news before the site went down, it would be a little over 4 months old now, the complete time the server was down as stated by the first post in this thread's date.

The server was just brought back up, there are still problems, I am tirelessy working on fixing the problems, they will be fixed, end of story.

Hardfolding.com is the home of the horde.

If someone wants to make their own site, thats fine, it will not be the official Hardfolding site, we already have one
