I am running an old 9600xt and I was curious if catalyst actually does anything useful or its better to go with display drivers. Just don't want to install it if its going to be bulky and useless. Thanks
 
its just bulky and useless.
its better than it use to be, but its still fairly bulky like any bad .NET or java app.

Yeah I figured I could get away with not using it unless it had some feature I really could use.
