Does Quick Sync get upgraded with each gen?

Just wondering if Quick Sync gets any improvements with each Intel CPU generation?

Would Quick Sync have any improvements in Arrow Lake from Raptor Lake?

I've been looking around for something like a specification change log pertaining to Quick Sync but haven't found anything.

It doesn't necessarily improve each generation, sometimes it does, sometimes it just holds over for awhile if there's nothing new to implement, and sometimes capabilities are downgraded or removed. I would assume that the efficiency of QuickSync improves with each process generation since it is implemented on die as fixed function hardware.

Arrow Lake has both improvements and regressions from Raptor. MPEG2 is now decode only, VC-1 is removed, AV1 has some encoding ability added up to 10 bit with 12 bit AV1 decoding only enabled.
