Does Eyefinity allow for Portrait + Landscape yet ?

I still think the best configuration for Eyefinity would be a 20" 1600x1200 monitor in Portrait + 30" 2560x1600 in Landscape + 20" in Portrait. So your mainly looking at the big center display, and 30" is the best for that, and the peripheral edges would be the 20" flipped up in Portrait mode, and not be so wide and lessen the fish eye effect.

I thought AMD said they were going to work on that in the future, and that was last year. Maybe the new 6800 series will allow for this type of setup, and not need Display Port as a must have too ?

Only way to get that to work right now is Soft TH right ? And that requires two video cards ? One powerhouse card, and the other just a standard low end card ? Does Soft TH work on Crossfire motherboards with 2 PCI-E slots ?

Neither Nvidia or AMD support PLP configs and word on the street is that they have no plans to either. Would be an awesome 6x series surprise but I really doubt it.

That is too bad. I have seen others on this Forum, with that 20" + 30" + 20" setup, and to me it looks perfect, the sides being just the right size, sometimes if you go with full size monitors on the side it is just way too wide and and gives and extreme fish eye effect.

I mainly play WoW the most, wonder if any gamers here have this setup and also play WoW, or other MMO's ?

I've been wondering this for a long time and unfortunately soft th is your only option at the moment.
also i'm subbing to this thread, I hope it gets some good responses.
I have some money set aside for this type of configuration, I want to get more input though.

I dont' really care for the PLP but more so different rez combined. 20" 1600x1200 + 24" 1920x1200 + 20" 1600x1200 would be perfect in my book. Should cut down on the fisheye effect.
