I am posting this in the Video section to get more detailed answers than the game section. I am looking at maybe getting the game BattleField: Bad Company 2. I am a HUGE BattleField2 and BF1942 player, PC only of course. Hoping this new one is somewhat close to BF2 ?

I have an EYEFINITY setup, with 5870 running three Dell 27" monitors, for a display of 5760x1200res. Some games take and handle the big widescreen res with zero issues, like all the Valve games I play, HalfLfie2, TF2, L4D, etc...Same with WoW...Does BF;BC2 work just as easy, just install the game, and set the widescreen res in-game menu, and all set to play ? Or does it need some special tweaking ?

It works just as you said -- set it to the resolution you want and go. Some FOV tweaking might be nice in the settings.ini file, but it's not necessary. BC2 also move the HUD to the central monitor for you -- excellent eyefinity support out of the box.

BC 2 is the best game I have found so far for eyefinity/ surround. You will need to turn settings down a fair bit to get a playable fps with just one card. It is a simple as you say install game. Start up choose res and settings under advance and play. The game is great fun to play with friends but it is not meant to be a bf2/ 3 replacement. There has just been a large patch which sorted out a 'few' bugs and added a few ;-)
 
Sounds great.
Looking for a fun vehicle multiplayer to play with my Brother. We both so burned out with WoW just sick of the game, wait for Cataclysm see if game will still be fun ?

My Brother was a major fan of BF1942 and BF2

Zorachus: As others have said, it works flawlessly out of the box. I even have it running on 3x2709s like you.
 
Then looks like I pick this up tonight. What servers you all playing on ?

works great with eyefinity. settings are on medium to help with my fps though. but you wont notice the difference from high and medium if your are focused on fraggin. lol

like someone mentioned, your HUD will stay in your middle screen. one of the only fps games that does this. unlike L4D and TF2 you need to do some tweaking.
