Does anyone have Silverstone FT01 pics?

I didn't get the sleeving yet.

I think it'll arrive Monday or Tuesday but they provided no tracking so I am not sure.

GPU runs pretty good here, have it idling at 40C. FT01BW:

I'm still working on my build. Since my last post I'ved added more bling:
- TRUE Black
- Silverstone 120x25mm fans with Blue LED's
- XFI Titanium
- Corsair Ram Cooler w/Blue LED Fans
- Added taller rubber feet, seemed to eliminate a weird noise I was getting. Like the PSU fan noise was resonating off the table top or something.
- I sleeved some of the easier cables (fan cables)

I still need to sleeve the PSU cables. I have the sunbeam pin extractor kit, but no idea how to use it. I got JT&T and TechFlex sleeving from Fry's. JT&T stuff is great, TechFlex is garbage (see through).

Also I'm not a fan of the tool-less 5.25 drive bay mechanisms. I have a hard time getting them lined up with the devices. The DVD drive locks in place without them anyway.

My FT01 is going back to Amazon. SIlverstone is ignoring my requests to replace the factory scratched window on the case. Thankfully, Amazon is kickass and is paying to ship the FT01 back to them (very cool on their part). I just ordered a Zalman GT1000 from amazon (yes it is overpriced there), but I don't care. I'll buy my cases my amazon from them any day considering the way they took care of me. Plus, there's no CA tax, and overnight shipping was 3.99 on the zalman case (awesome price).

It sucks. I really did like the case, but I refuse to live with a scratched window, and refuse to pay extra money to replace the window through computer mod site or something.

I know the zalman is overpriced by around $150, and probably not as good a case as the FT01 (though the build quality on the zalman is top notch, better than anything Silverstone or Lian LI has), I just love the look of the case.

Well I just got my stuff from Murdermod, can't wait to get in to sleeving my wires, I will probably start some tonight, however I won't be finished until tomorrow at the earliest, so don't expect pictures until then.

The shipping kinda sucked, however I realized after the fact it was just sent via postage. That actually kinda figures but it would be nice to have an option for UPS or something.

heh to continue omerta's comment on the window, I noticed on mine one of the screws was not all the way in and offset a bit. So I took out tools and fixed it myself, everything lines up perfectly. Yes I do agree it is a bit strange on a 200dollar case, but I love everything else about it. I almost regret my caviar blacks since they are the loudest components in my system by far.

On support, silverstone has answered all my questions with detailed responses in 1 day. I thought there was a vibration problem with their fans but it turned out to be my HDs misaligned in the HD rack when moved them to readjust the cables.

Yeah, too bad they ignored me.

I finally moved everything into my Zalman GT1000, and, wow, this is the BEST built case i've ever seen by far. 5mm aluminum all over. Honestly, I knew going into this the Zalman GT1000 was built out of higher quality materials, but I thought the FT01 had much superior functionality over the $400 Zalman case. I was wrong. The HDD rack/ drive bay mount system is much better on this case. Cable management is much more simple. The case is nearly as quiet, and for some reason (I don't understand why) temps are lower inside this case. And it has a removable motherboard. I'm pretty much in love with the case, and I am glad I spent a little extra to get it instead of the Lian LI PC80 that I initially was going to get to replace the FT01.

I'll say from the looks, the easy to open side panel looks nice, but at 400 i'm not sure why you wouldn't go top of the line Lian Li here, especially since this has 2 92mm fans exposed at the front. As in the case of the FT01, both could be even quieter with a door. I hope your significant other didn't give you bloody murder about spending that much on a case.

Well I just finished a few of the cables doing the murdermod sleeving, and good lord that takes a lot out of you. It does look much nicer though. I just have the 8-pin CPU cable and a molex cable to go. I think I might tackle those tomorrow. I did have a recent problem of one of my hot swap bays not working however. Kind of frustrating, but I am glad to hear I didn't fry a hard drive or something (like I originally thought).

Any more updates/pics fellas? Interested in seeing some more murdermod / individually sleeved cable jobs in this case.

Damn, this is the first case I have seen that would ever make me consider swaying from Lian-Li :p
