Does anyone actively cool their memory?

If so, what do you use? How necessary is active cooling of memory for achieving good OC results?

nope i dont.. havent had a need to do it.. as long as you are running it within the recommended voltages and arent running it in a small case with 0 airflow then there shouldnt really be that much of a reason to use active cooling..

I have a fan in my case that pushes air at the memory and I have never had a problem being heat limited on memory overclocks, they never feel overly warm to the touch. (shrug) I dont know if active cooling is needed but I use active cooling on about everything (including northbridge)

Ok those look nice. I ask because the ram in my pc overheats to the point that I get BSODs, and when I touch the spreaders, they feel hot. Each of those will cool up to how many sticks? My current mobo has 4 ram slots, but the p6t deluxe that I have coming in will have 6 ram slots.

2.77 v on the memory. Stock rating I believe is 2.5-2.7v. The sad thing is if I go to 2.6v the system won't load stable.

OCZ Rev2 looks nice. High and Low switch. No stupid meshed vent in front blocking air flow. I would bet money the OCZ rev2 would do a much better job over its previous model which I used to own.

Hmm I like the OCZ rev 2 as well, but I'm not sure that it would coexist with a Scythe Mugen 2 or TRUE heatsink. Thoughts?

Well I guess it depends on your board layout. I ran the version 1 with my TRUE no problem.
