So without researching or doing any HCL/Whitebox checking I seem the have a solid ESXi host for my Autolab build.

ASUS Crosshair V Formula AMD 990FX/SB950
32GB via G.SKILL Ares Series 4 x 8GB DDR3 1866 F3-1866C10Q-32GAB
A OCZ Agility 3 AGT3-25SAT3-240G for boot and cache
2 x Seagate Barracuda XT ST32000641AS 2TB for main VMFS storage
An EVGA GeForce GTX 670 2GB which is overkill but the box was supposed to be my new gaming/home rig.
Housed in a Corsair Obsidian Series Black 650D
CPU cooling with a Corsair Hydro Series H100

Looking to go to an Oct core CPU next but kind of liking the fact it all works like a champ so far.

Pending - 2 x Intel Pro/1000 PT Dual Port GB NIC - EXPI9402PT

Added vExpert license to vCenter so now on to vCD and the other goodies.

Hope this helps someone looking to build since it does not look like any of the Whitebox HCL lists are being kept up anymore.
