Who here uses a mousepad? I have one but it sort of annoys me - but the wood surface that my mousepad is on would be super-slippery for my mouse, which is a no-no as well.

Or maybe I should just get a new mousepad :)

What do you guys use?

Cloth top for ball mice, hard top for optical mice, nothing for trackballs.

I use a cloth Garfield mousepad (on top of an everglide :D).

I found a desk at an auction with a top like I've never seen. It works easily as well as my Ratzpad, so I'm padless at the moment.

MX310, no mousepad. Ironic that the male mouse is the one that needs a pad, no? :p

At home with my Logitech wireless opti, no pad, just the living room table. At work have to use one 'cause my desk is some funky material that the opti won't read.

free black hawk down large gaming mouse pad, and my workstation trackball doesnt require a pad. kensington optical pro and logitech trackball thingy.

Don't have a real mouse pad, just an old encyclopedia. Has just the right resistence with my old ball mouse to play CS with.

I have a cheap $20 Logitech optical rat, and a glass desk. So I am still using this free mousepad that came with my Roadrunner cable back in 2000.... wish I still had the cable, beats the crap out of the lame cable I have now. Need to move again so I can get my fast internet back.

Optical on a wooden desk here as well. Just haven't gotten a good mouse pad yet.

got a free one that is something similar to a optical rat, but it tapes onto the desk and is a little thicker than a sheet of paper

I still use the big 10"x13" gamepc mouse pad i won a long time ago.
