Do i need a sound card?

I can't tell you what would/should sound good to you so I'd say try the onboard audio and see how you like it. If it's sufficient for you then you won't need a sound card.
 
I expect you'll find a budget soundcard won't offer much improvement but a higher end soundcard will. If you're overclocking a soundcard becomes a better idea.
 
I thought the integrated codec on my mobo was decent until I bought a Sondigo Inferno in an impulse buy.

Haven't regretted that decision :D
