my cpu V is set at 1.725v but mbm5 is reading my lowest as 1.70v and highest 1.825v. that is a big flux and is that normal?

my 12v rails run as low as 11.73v and my 3.3v run as low as 3.14v.

its a 420 psu that came with the case.. i am 100% sure i need a new psu eventually but how soon should eventually be?

will a better psu = a more stable cpu o/c because of a more stable V?

thanks..

I never trust any readings I get from MBM. If you want to know the correct voltage use a voltmeter at the ATX connector.

That fluctuation in your Vcore is sort of large... I wouldn't worry about it getting down to 1.7, but also up to 1.825 is sort of a leap. Mine usually varies by about .05V under load. A better PSU would probably help you overclock, assuming you got a good one with more stable electronics. It shouldn't jump around as much and shouldn't change as much due to loading conditions.

That's fine to check your 12 and 5V lines, but it's a little more difficult to check voltages that are regulated by your motherboard. I have found that MBM reads a little lower than my multimeter reads from a molex connector though.
