Do I have enough power?

Hey guys... Just finished my first system build. Everything seems to be going fine, but I feel like maybe I'm a little underpowered. I'm not terribly technically savvy, so any advice would be helpful

System:
Coolermaster 690 Case (3- 120mm fans, upgrading to 7)
ASUS M2N-32 SLI Deluxe Wireless MB
AMD X2 6400+ 3.2 GHz
EVGA 640MB GeForce 8800 GTS
Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatality Sound Card
8GB Corsair XMS2 DDR 2 PC800
Samsung 750 GB HDD
2- Samsung DVD/RW
Samsung 22" LCD
Logitech Z-5500 speakers
Windows Vista Ultimate

My PSU that came with my case is the CoolerMaster Real Power 550W. Do you guys think this is enough? Also, newegg is running a 24 hour sale. They have a rosewill 950W and a thermaltake 850W on sale for a pretty good price. What do you guys think about those brands. I know they're not on the high end, but they seem like a pretty good deal.

Thanks guys!

JD

It should run your system but it may be faulty (ie not able to give full output).
Can you try another PSU or use a PSU to power the graphics card alongside your current PSU?

Seems ok with what you have now, careful on upgrading or some major overclocking. And it's not always all about the wattage, got to see the amps!

It looks good, but keep an eye out for a corsair 620w or zalman 600w PSU if you see a good price ~$100-130. eBay is a good place to look.

Thanks for the input guys... So when I go to the SLI mode with dual 8800 GTS, what would you guys recommend for a PSU at that point?

definitely one of the higher end Corsair models (although it's really better to read individual reviews)

Corsair VX550, Corsair, HX520 modular or Corsair HX620 modular.

I would go HX620 modular with 50Amps on the +12v. These PS are coming cheaper if you shop around.
