Do I got the perfect balanced system?

My system is 100 % stable.

slower my mem timings don´t get me a higher FSB overclock.

No matter what FSB I use if I run Prime 95 at higher Megahertz settings I get errors after some hours. Or 3DMARK 2003 fails within a second.

Choosing faster mem timings make me crash in windows.

So to me it seems like neither my cpu/mainboard or memory want to go any higher than 210 fsb.

Pretty crappy for my watercooling system but I am used to getting bad overclocking parts.

Before watercooling my northbridge it was definiatly my mainboard holding me back at 193 fsb but now it´s my whole computer.

Oh well at least I am running 100 % efficient of what my computer can handle :D

Water colling is not going to help your fsb much at all. You need to do a vdimm mod for that one.

Well it sure helped watercooling my north bridge. And yes I am sure a vdimm mod would help but I am not handy with welders and crap. And it´s not much deal anyway. My computer at 210 fsb is perhaps 0,5 % faster than at 193 fsb. I don´t know but I never see any real gains by overclocking. It´s like you get a gain when going from 166 to 180 but after that it just doesn´t happen anything.

Not that but I have used other tools that let you adjust all voltages within windows as well as FSB. It even allows you to set a max and min fsb and when your cpu usage goes up your FSB rises and vice versa. It can even adjust voltages too which is quite cool. I found it on www.nforcershq.com and Abit forums. Works for most nforce 2 mainboards as well as perhaps others.

What´s holding me back seem to be several things. CPU/mainboard and RAM. Since if I lower my RAM timings my computer go unstable. And that don´t affect my northbridge.

Also running even CAS 3 and higher fsb and I get unstable. Which means it just has to be my northbridge failing.

And going low fsb and try to raise my CPU I can perhaps raise it max 20 Mhz more and still be stable but then I have to raise my voltage which is really high as it´s. I have got it down to 195 now stable.

So to me it seems everything is holding me back ;)

But as I said it don´t worry me much. I was frustrated before not being able to get to 11x200 like everybody else with crap cooling but...

If you look at the performance aspect there is not very much of a difference to talk about if I could get it up to 220 fsb. I hardly see any difference from my old 12x193 setting to my current 11x210.

In fact 3D Mark scores is almost exactly the same and in game performance also.

But watercooling my northbridge is the best thing I have done in my hole life. That and getting a fan controller. Now I finally got a silent computer when I want to and even with my fans for my radiator 7-volted I can play for hours without crashing even though temps of course builds up slowly then.

So I am finally somewhat satisfied with my system. I may not get the overclock I should but that´s life. My next CPU maybe will be a super overclocker who knows :D

Well I have heard that PSU:s work best at 50-70 % load or something so perhaps I am overpowered :D
