Do copper staples make good ramsinks?
Ok, im a cheap ass, but the theory is sound!

that's a good idea, but it may depend on how hot your ram is getting. The glue that holds the staples together may melt and mess up your carp. Also, staples have a low surface area and it may not be very helpful.

do it and let us know if they worked, or if they destroyed your RAM ;)

Sounds like a good idea, you probably need some Arctic Silver Alumina to epoxy the staples to the chips though.

Edit: Thinking back.. take some sandpaper to those copper staples. I seem to remember that it's just a copper coating.
