Can anyone help me out with DNS on Win Server 2003? This server has been running RAS in NAT mode and DNS authoritive for the local domain and 1 .co.uk name also. The problem is that last night, I botched the cable line TCPIP settings and now I keep getting this error whenever I try to start to DNS server:
The DNS server could not signal the service "NAT". The error was 1168. There may be interoperability problems between the DNS service and this service.

Thing is, NAT appears to be working fine and now I'm just totally lost. Any suggestions please?

Thanks

What do you have for TCP/IP settings on both NICs?
Provider order loading?
Bindings on WAN and LAN NIC?

Local Network has 1 IP on 10.1.1.0/29 bound with Client for MSN and File/Printsharing DNS_A 127.0.0.1 DNS_B 4.2.2.4
Cable Link is DHCP for IP DNS 4.2.2.3 4.2.2.4 and no bindings.
