Dlink gaming router type software for dedicated pc router?

im sure many of you have seen the dlink DGL-4100 gaming router.

im wondering if anyone knows a piece of software that can prioritize gaming packets in the way this router can? this techonlogy isn't some big secret right?

Never heard or seen of software doing the same thing. I've ordered that router to give it a test drive, should have it tomorro and I"ll post my findings in comparison to my WRT54g

Priotitizing packets can be done in a lot of software firewalls. I'm trying to get IPCop working at the moment, and it has a packet priority list, set by ports and other stuff...

Oh, and its NOT a big secret... its just that a lot of $50 routers don't implement this feature. You get what you pay for I guess.
