DIY Notebook cooler

I want to build a notebook cooler instead of buying one, mainly for practice with modding.

How would I run 2 120mm fans off a power adapter or usb cable?

I also want to integrate a usb hub in it too. Its more likely not going to travel with so weight won't be an issue.

Or you could get this..

...with a molex splitter http://www.jab-tech.com/4-Pin-molex-Y-adapter-pr-1592.html and use just about any fan you'd like.



Power5's method might be a little better because you don't need to be next to a power outlet for the laptop cooler to work. But I think either method would work well enough.

Interesting review. however would it warrant a bronze award if it didn't actually offer much in cooling performance which primarily is its sole function?
