"Displays" Sticky Threads

Why are there so many sticky threads in the "Displays" forum? I can understand why the somewhat-outdated "TFT Technology Breakdown" thread is stickied, but why is the FW900 thread or the 37" Westinghouse thread stickied?

The FW900 reads just like most of the Display reviews on these forums (and VERY closely mirrors the BENQ 24" thread where people discuss updates and configurations.)

The Westinghouse 37" thread seems to have branched off in to a "Post your [H]ot Westinghouse price deal here" thread (regardless of size) along with a "Look at my cool Westinghouse screen" thread (again, regardless of size or model.)
