my friend has an old Dell laptop.. and all of a sudden his colors area messed up. Like instead of smooth colors, there are sudden changes and it's like layered looking.. like vectored animation (not really.. but good way to think of it), he has it on 32 bit, and the same resolution he's always used, display looks ok in device manager, he can't update drivers b/c i dont think there are any, he says sometimes , like right before he shuts down the comp, it looks fine. any ideas?
