display information sites

[mikeczyz]

i'm a newbie to the world of displays. have been rolling with a 17 inch crt. looking to move into the world of lcd displays. any good sites for research? the one si found all suck.

if that doesn't work, how about people just recommend 20" widescreen lcd's? gonna be used for mostly gamine with some word processing thrown in...

It might be helpful if you list the sites you've already visited that "suck" but..

www.widescreengamingforum.com
www.tftcentral.co.uk
www.flatpanels.dk
www.behardware.com

are just a few that I've browsed in the past...Cnet also does reviews on a wide range of monitors.
