This may sound really random but...

I recently switched from DirectTV to Verizon. They never came to pick up the dish on top of my house. I called them and they dont want it back.

Anyone know of any other uses for this dish? Or is this just way too science fiction-ish?
 
They usually just leave it there. They really don't have a reuse for it.

You could use it as a Wi-Fi antenna, if you wanted. Other than that.... Maybe strip it down and use it as a sled this winter... It's not good for much else.

Could try to use it as a FTA dish, if you wanted to get into that. Which gives me an idea! Thanks!
 
Wifi antenna was actually what I was thinking. Internet searches really dont return any useful results. Anyone else do anything like this?
 
lmao pickup wifi from 2 towns away. dunno if it would work, but it'd be hilarious if it did!
