I have been wanting to get a telescope for the longest time but cant seem to find what i want mabey its not even made yet but what im looking for is a nice telescope i can place on my roof and hook it up to my computer in my house via ethernet or what ever kind of connection and view the images on my screen and move the telescope around. Does anyone know where i could find such a monster?
 
You would need to adapt a digital camera to a telescope. Search google or Remote Viewing Telescopes. You might find something that you are looking for.

OK you can get a telescope with an auto guider and, the make an adapter for a TV. I believe Orion telescope has that.
www.telescope.com Atleast that is where I think I saw the adapter. But the problem with the imaging is, that deep sky objects will not show very well. It would work well for solar, lunar and, planetary observing though. Good Luck
