My mom wants to get one for our trip to Europe this summer. I could also use it around hte house for sales or at my games or something. Her price range is anywhere up to $300 or so bucks.

After seeing my aunts Olympus Stylus 410 and how I was able to drag the jpeg images straight to my pc which I liked because there was nothing to install :) she really wanted one

So can you guys point me in the right direction or list some good digital cameras? Cnet aint helping much

it really depends on how you want to use your camera. Do you like lots of options, using filters, zoom and all that? Then you can get the fuji finepix s5200, which is a very good camera, for about 280. Do you prefer point and shoot cameras, which are really compact and easy to use? Then something like a canon sd400 is better.
