wow...haven't posted for so long on [H].

Here's the problem: My friend has a Sony digital camera (forget which model), and whenever he tries to turn the camera on, the lens won't come out. You could hear the motor, but the lens is not poping out.

Does anyone know where or how this problem can be treated?

I have seen low batteries cause this issue. Is it set for picture vs. playback? Which model #?
