digi-camera temporery file storage?

are there any dangers if i use a digi-camera:samsung digimax 201 & kingston sd128 card
as a temporery file storage.the idea was that my father take the digicamera on work and download win2k sp4full which is about.100mb and upload the file with usb-cable to digi-camera and then in home i download it from the digicamera with usb cable.
