from looking around i see clear difference between the pro and the pe, i.e. 12 pixel pipelines compared to 16.. but i know very little about the dif between the xt and the xtpe :-/

im looking at pci-express cards for my new system.

The x800xt is just clocked slower than the x800xtpe. 500/500 compared to 560/560 I believe?

The x800xt has all 16 pixel pipelines. I think you might be thinking of the x800Pro

im a dummy i just noticed the product comparison on ati's page.. it was hard to find :-|

ive ordered my asus pci-e x800xt and they had it in stock so should be with me in a couple days..

thanks :)

XT: 500/500
XT-PE: 520/560

Both of these models exist for both PCI-E and AGP, at this point. I saw an AGP XT for sale the other day, and Abit is making a PCI-E XT-PE. The PCI-E version is actually the R423, but they're basically the same except for the interface.
