Okay so I cant put a 1394 wire into a usb port or it gets screwed up and vice versa.
But I cant tell what the 1394 is. I have two cables that say usb, but one is composed of two wires instead of one.

Should the wire say 1394 on it, or could it say usb??? What color is it>

Thanks for help :p

are you talking about the cables that lead into the mobo? or are you talking about the actual port?

check for the blank pins in the cable ends... i think USB has pin 2 blank and 1394 has pin 5 blank or something like that...
