Did you know that the older and bigger netgear wireless routers actually use a PCMCIA wireless card in them?
I didn't and now I have a brand new perfectly working netgear wireless card that gets 100% connect no matter where I am in the house.
The model of the card is a MA401 and it works beautifully.

Just thought it was an interesting tidbit of information.

Oh and I took the router apart because it kept glitching on us.

ya, the older WAP11's from linksys and even some of their G stuff also uses PCMCIA cards...

its cheaper that way, so they dont hav to buy seperate radios for each product

Yep. Many of the access points are just general-purpose single-board computers with a PCMCIA slot and a wireless PCMCIA card.

Did _you_ know that many of those single board computers can be re-flashed with a version of Linux or NetBSD?
