I just got this today on 6/15/2010 a Diamond SupraMax Pro.

Here are the specs.

• V.90, V.92 & V.44 ITU standard 56K
• V.34 and backwards compatible protocols
• Fax speeds up to 14,400 bit/s, Group III, Class 1
• Data compression V.42bis and MNP 5
• Error correction V.42 LAPM and MNP 4

I don't need it, but I bought it to go along with the SupraSpeed Internet Acceleration Service that I bought several years ago. Even though it works with any Modem because I liked my old Supra with V.90 support and I am not going to use either one unless for some reason I can't get broadband, so I haven't opened the boxes yet. LOL

Why this technology is still supported now and you even lived in a place where broadband DSL or cable was unavailable. In fact according to Cisco when accomodating a teleworker, the type of connection that should be used when mobile access during traveling is required and broadband options are not available.

Wow, you got the PCI version. I had 5 of those, hehe. I had about a dozen ISA versions, IIRC. Anyhow, I've sold/given away all of them already, except for one ISA version. hehe.
