DI-604 overheating

I was bittorrenting Desert Combat updates and Fedora Core ISOs the other day when my DI-604 stopped working. I go to reset the thing, and it's REALLY hot. Almost painful to touch.

I decided to let the thing cool off and even held it in front of the A/C vent to cool it.

...which brings me to my point.

I know the search is broken, so bear with me.

I remember there being a link or a thread on how someone managed to get his DI-604 (or maybe it was some Belkin box) to run cooler with bigger heatsinks and even a fan. If someone could give linkage?

heh I have the + model of this router. Apparantly I had an older version as I had to RMA the old one, and this new one is very small...anyway, routers overheating is a common problem, the solution is to add cooling, in the form of either external/interal fans, or even a simple heatsink on the main hot chip. havnt done it since its my parents, but a lot of people have done it to their own personal routers and Ive heard it can help.

My mom is all for me adding cooling to the thing; it always craps when she's pulling huge databases off her work VPN. I just want to see pictures of other people having done it.

Are there pins on the board/power brick that I can connect a fan to? I have a heatsink/fan off a dead Pentium 90 that I can hook up, but where? I believe mine is the DI-604+ too.
