hi,
from what i can see, these 2 boards are very similar in every aspect.
ive never owned a DFI board, but i have owned an Asus board.
which do i go with, the one i know and trust, or the dark horse that ive heard so many great things about?
please help! :(

Depends on what you're going for... the NF2 Ultra B has a lot more overclocking options that the A7N8X-E Deluxe doesn't have.

i will probably be overclocking somewhat due to the new watercooling kit (not prebuilt) ive put together.
is it as reliable as the Asus board?

Yeah it's just as reliable. Bios support is great.

The Asus lacks Chipset voltage adjustment and only allows up to 2.8v for ddr voltage and 1.85v for Vcore. Simply put..it is NOT a overclocker mainboard, especially with the cooling you have.

the DFI allows for up to 3.3v ddr, 1.9v chipset and 2.0 Vcore
And with the BIOSes that are made for this board, 230 - 250FSBs are walks in the park for most people with good memory

ok, the DFI it is.
what sort of FSB could i get out of my current CPU with my current cooling u reckon?
