- Allows up to 4 simultaneous displays with onboard video and seperate graphics card together.

Knock on wood because it looks like we finally have a true Matx winner, they hit 320 HTT no problem in that review. They even boosted 3D scores 15% by overclocking the onboard video.

All of this on an ATI RS482 chipset to boot..

Hey, the Jetway and other RX boards showed it had the potential to do it and the Radeon Xpress chipsets are allegedly cheap (subsidized?). All it took was a manufacturer to invest the time in the bios and since A. DFI had already done so and B. ATi has a better/cheaper all-in-one mobo solution - why not? :cool:

I hear ya and i personally don't have any general qualms with ati-based products. I just wasn't holding out much hope for any `extremely good overclocking Matx mobo's that had so many onboard components. (an area i have interest in), I'm hoping these DFI results prove to be consistent...
 
i like the pci-e/pci slot arrangement, most of the other good matx boards have non-ideal slot arrangement. i'm hoping this mobo will be in the $70-80 range, if it is then that'll be sweeeet.
 
This might be the board to finally get me to go SFF. I would be kinda tough to justify the 125$ price suggested in the article though. How much would the 320HTT help me push something with a low multiplier like a 165? Im not sure what this OCZ3500 ram is really capable of due to 2.7 volt limit on my current mobo and im wondering if the biostar is gonna limit me much.
 
One more thing...

Last I checked, the reviews on Newegg were saying the build quality on the DFI LanParty RX was flaky... Well, this board should be interesting no matter what.

I actually don't like it. With the 16XPCI-E slot in the farthest, on the Q-Pack, your video card has a very tight/possible intereference fit with support bracket. With the 16XPCI-E slot one over from the end, you have more breathing room for your video card as well as room to put some fans on the back side to cool any RAM modules you have may have back there. It also leaves more room for a northbridge fan.
 
i guess in some cases it depends on what you want to do. in one of the reviews, they stated that the NB doesn't get hot even when the IGP is overclocked. plus for me, i have a vf700cu on my 7800GT and i know it wants a little more breathing room since i have a audigy2 in the last slot.
 
I hope this board is avaliable soon. I'm really considering build a SFF and this looks like the board to get. I searched all over online and no one seems to carry it yet.
 
Linux usually has a problem with the ati graphics cards but I don't know about chipsets. Anyone know if Linux will run well on this board?
 
I run mepis on my Compaq Notebook which has the 200m chipset. It works great with kernel 2.13 and up with KDE 3.5 or Gnome 2.12. Kernel 2.12 requires install of ATI drivers and some adjustments to other parts to get it to work. The other good news is that they just released 8.22 drivers which support the video with acceleration.

It should be consistant. DFI has always been consistant when it comes to overclocking. They just design motherboards and bioses better than Asus and others.
 
I hope to put soon my hands on this mobo.

In italy it should be available for the end of february, its arrival has already been delayed (i should have had it for feb. 18th).

Any user has it at home?

If so, could u post some impressions about bios settings/overcolcking pls?
