Anyone heard of this company? A forum search turned up zilch, a google turned up one user review and 2 other mentions, and that's it. The reason I ask is that the price is very tempting from a local retailer www.ditcorp.com (their site design doesn't allow for direct linking to the PSU page).

But I'm guessing the fact that no one has heard of them doesn't bode well ;)

I've heard of Davanni's Pizza, no Devanni though.

...mmmm....pizza....

A check of the UL registration number, E107407, shows this, meaning it's made by Leadman, company behind such low quality brands as Powmax, Raidmax, and Robanton.

I can't read the label very well, but if the +3.3V rail is rated for just 10A, then this can't possibly be a 300W PSU because 3.3V x 10A + 5V x 20A + 12V x 12A + 5V x .5A + 12V x .5A + 5V x 1.5A = 293W

NewEgg has 300W PowerQ brand PSUs made by Fortron/Sparkle for just $22, shipped, and that would definitely be a better deal.

nice detective work ;)

Devanni looks like a very limited rebrander, also dabbling in cases
I wouldnt let that PSU within 10 feet of any computer you dont actually want to kill
any PSU that doesnt cost at least $50 > $65 is highly suspect
consider the cost just to transport them from Asia, a little labor and reseller profit margin
so after deducting those costs, whats left for components out of a $10 > $20 PSU?
