I get somethign like this:

Just reformated, installed the 71.89 drivers. I don't believe these were beta, as I got them from Nvidia's website.
geforce 6800gt
amd64 3000+
1gb Corsair XMS memory
fresh install of Windows XP with SP2

***UPDATE***
changed out with an NVIDIA fx5600 (i think, it was a friends) and things worked fine.
then replaced it again with the old 6800gt
Everythign worked fine.

Talk to my dad and he said there was a major power surges at our house in the past few days. As it would be my APC is not plugged in right now as I just got a new computer unit.
So looks to be a bad power supply, or just a faulty one.
*******

powersupply? bad card? I would just rma it.

but I am pretty sure it's a bad card

I just restarted and no problem.....

so confused.... temperature on video card has never got very high, and I have NEVER overclocked it.

I have been updating windows and typing on another forum... as I do a bunch of sections "spike" with those pixels.....
I really.... REALLY don't want to RMA it. Do you think it is a driver thing?

I have to admit before I reformated this morning I was playing Battlefield 2 demo and everytime I played it, 15min into it I would get BSOD! Bugged me soo bad! Could this have something to do with it???
