I ran a simple program that displays a full screen window and alternates between red and green at 60Hz. If you absolutely must know why I was simply testing for dropped frames, not important. So, flashing colors, really fast. Ran it for like 10 - 15 seconds and now my monitor is screwed up. Constant flickering. It's been 10 minutes and the flickering seems to be getting slowly better. I don't know if it is going to go away entirely with time, but surely either way this is a ridiculous thing to have happen.

PS. I've tried all the obvious things. Testing to see if it was actually the monitor and not the video card, resetting the monitor, you name it.

Compile and use at your own risk I guess. Apparently some monitors can't handle this (which is ridiculous IMO) and also people with epilepsy beware.
