We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Dell Precision T3500 Raid Controller

You could get a significantly cheaper sata 3 card then. How many drives?

What cables came with your T3500? You should be able to add a used Dell Perc H700 for next to nothing (~$40US for just the card, more with cables, etc.). It's a great (for the era) LSI RAID card with a Dell badge on it. The only restrictions are:
1. Needs to be reflashed if you want to use it in non-Dell hardware (not a problem for you)
2. Needs an official firmware update to make it work with non-Dell drives (easily done).
3. It's a SAS/SATA card so you will need SAS to SATA breakout cables if your T3500 didn't come with them. Fortunately these are also cheap on eBay.

Places like /r/homelab /r/DataHoarder and servethehome.com (forums) will have more info should you need it

Edit: I forgot to say be careful when looking at the H700. A lot of the ones that were made were specifically for a unique Dell slot in the servers. You can get normal PCI-E 2.0 8x(?) slot ones too.

There are much cheaper options to be had, i just picked up a lsi 9211-8i(was a SUN server pull) already flashed to P20 firmware(the HBA non raid firmware) off ebay for $40 CDN

Rift, will that card give me 6gbs speeds out of my SSD's?

Thanks Rift. Grabbed an IBM ServeRaid M1015 off the bay. I'll flash it and give it a whirl.
