Dell Power supplie help

Since it is a later model Dell, it is fairly certain that it will use standard ATX connections.

I dunno about the inspirons but I can tell ou that most certainly doesn't apply to the optiplexes I deal with at uni. They all seem to use a micro-fit connector (and I think dell has their own pinout variant of said connector so be careful with adaptors)

I actually have an old Dell PSU from a 4600 model...I think its 250watts. (I'll happily sell it to you since I'm not sure what to do with it!)

First...why not post what the model number is on the PSU? it should say something on the side.
