Dell Outlet Monitors?

Just curious if anyone had any opinions as to whether it is a good or bad idea to order monitors from the dell outlet? I believe they still come with the warranty so I should be protected from a messed up monitor, no?

Reason I ask is that the 30" monitors are going for $1049 on the dell outlet right now. Pretty nice price for a 30"er. (here's the link)

They do come with a warranty,and I wonder if a an extended warranty can be purchased like on the NIB models as well ?

If extending it to 3 to 5 is possible,seems a half decent option.
