Dell laptop on dock: "Error loading operating system"

I have a brand new laptop and I just installed updates on it. When I reboot it on the dock it says "Error loading operating system". When I remove it from the dock and boot it up, it works fine.

I've googled the "Error loading operating system" error and they say a fixboot or fixmbr may fix it. My question is, why does it do that on the dock only?

Any help would be appreciated.
 
Does the docking station have a CD, Diskette, hard drive, external hard drive, or any type of portable media installed? if so remove or disconnect it, then try rebooting.
