Dell 2407WFP?

So right now I have the Samsung 225bw and while it is a great monitor I want to go bigger... I really like the monitor for all the inputs and for the price I think it might be the best right now (correct me if I am wrong). I was jut wondering two things:

1. Are they going to be releasing a newer updated version soon?

2. Are the icons/start bar/anything on the monitor going to be smaller looking than on the 22"? I know this may sound stupid but I was just wondering... I know the resolution is bigger, but with the screen also being bigger wouldn't all that just stay the same... but you would have more room to work with?

The icons will be about the same with the 22" I got a 22" Westinghouse and got a 24" Gateway and at their native resolutions, they are the same in size but more room to work with. This is good when you are tiling windows. I felt the same as you on the 22", I wanted just that extra size but, at the time I only seen 22" so...I just got it. Then..when a 24" just pops up I got that. I am happy with it. Its hard for me to downsize to a smaller screen once I got it. Unless the 24" is really crappy. I probably will sell my 22" to my friend.
