Dell 2407 HC problem

Hi, I have recently noticed a problem with my Dell 2407HC monitor, in an area in the bottom right corner of the panel colours appear darker than other parts of the screen, also if greenish colours are displayed there is a sligh reddish tint in that area. It is most noticeble when a single colour is displayed across the screen as you can clearly see it is darker in that one patch. Also in windows when the corners of windows are over that area the edges of that window show up below the window very faintly sort of like ghosting except the afterimage is below the window. This 'afterimage' moves with the window as well but it only appears in that small area.

I have tested it with various inputs and devices so it is not my computer and definitely something wrong with the monitor. The area is actually the area infront of where you plug in the power to the monitor so I assume it is where the power supply is.

Has anyone else experienced such a problem? and has anyone got any advice on how to get it fixed?

I have seen others like this on ebay for sale. I dont know if you can fix it or not. Mostly time to RMA to dell. Hopefully you still have some warranty left.
