I just got my third exchange of the 2007WFP and it is an A04. Im trying to take a pic but my phone cam is too blurry. It is a RT803 (ips) as well. Shipped from Austin, made in Mexico.

I really couldnt say, I have my PVA at home and can test it side by side for as long as my 2 year old lets me :)

I've been waiting for confirmation on this before pulling the trigger! Well, confirmation as well as my tax refund... ;-)

Hopefully more people will be able to confirm this with their orders...

The best news about this is the fact that the new revision was an IPS. Although my PVA was a revision A03 so you never know.

Holy...

Please! test flickering. I really want this problem to be finished with so I can dump some cash.

I will do that, anyone have that link to the grey screen people were using?

Found it. There is some flicker on that pic only. I have tried multiple solid colors and no flicker on them. I dont know what they fixed in this rev. I do have 2 stuck/dead pixels so now I dont know If I risk an exchange. I guess I will monitor the forum and see.

Turning the brightness down got rid of the flicker on that grey scree. No getting rid of these stuck pixels though. Tried all the java apps and massaging.

I recommend doing real calibration - just turning down the brightness is perfect way to ruin colors and contrast.

Honestly, with 2 dead pixels, its going back again.

Try this...
Get a microfiber cloth and some lcd cleaner spray....spritz a little on the cloth and gently clean the entire screen. After you're done see if the stuck pixels are still visible.;)

JHFerry, what is Dell's return.exchange policy? Also, how does on tell if the received panel is IPS or PVA?

Could you do a stopwatch test with the S-PVA and the S-IPS next to each other to check for lag differences?

clock can be downloaded here:
http://www.fauland.com/af8.htm

Run in clone mode when both monitors are attached and take a picture (not screengrab, but actual picture)

Make sure that the clock shows miliseconds.

Much appreciated if you could do this! :)

Sorry, Dell sent UPS to pick that PVA up the next day. I may be doing a 4th third exchange though due to dead pixels so lets see what I get.
