i have had this monitor for about 6 months and i notice that i have problems with image quality sometimes when i boot up. I also find that when trying to play battlefield1942 over dvi ( in the multiplayer server selection window) that i cannot see the whole scree. i have to switch to vga to be able to select punkbuster. i also think the picture is a bit grainy, meaning that up close the pixels look seperated and it appears as though there is a mesh on the screen.i was wondering if i were to call dell, would they refund me for it or only replace it? If i were to get a refund is there another good lcd that i could buy? I could possibly live with a samsung 710t onlybeing 17 inches and 1289x1024.. what would you do?

If I had to guess why you are having problems with BF1942, itd be because..well..nevermind, I was gonna say because BF1942 doesn't have 1280x960.

So basically what your saying is you expect Dell to let you borrow a monitor for a 6 month evaluation period. And you did't notice any of these problems when you first got it. Come on I think you know the answer to your question!

wrong. i wasz wondering wther its worth it to try to get another one or not. i like the ,monitor and have put up with problems becauszse i thought it was a videocard problem. so i guess they dont refund ,.

they have a 3 year warranty if you think its broken..

The problem with battlefield is probably because you need to set the option to 1 or 0 in the Videodfault.con file. That fixed my problem with the game.
