Just out of curiousity, what do you guys have your 2001FP's color settings as? I keep hearing how it is great out of the box in reviews, but I can't seem to get my colors to display accurately with any of the default profiles. I have mine set to User Adjusted, 45 Blue, 45 Red, and 45 Green.

I have mine at normal preset and it looks fine to me.

You installed the driver, right?

edit Are you using the DVI input?

The driver is installed, I am using DVI.

The Normal Preset seems too dim as well as too warm for me. Changing it from Normal to 45 / 45 / 45 makes it look much better on my monitor. Try changing it and tell me what you think.

Ha! Yeah, I think 45-45-45 looks pretty good (on color bars)! I'll try it out some more and see if I like it for regular photos, games, etc.

What do you have your brightness set to?

100. That's just backlight brightness anyway (the light behind the lcd). I'd think that would be more dependant on your room lighting, I think it looks fine at anywhere from 50-100, it's not a huge difference.
