Dell 2000fp longevity

For those of you who own a dell 2000fp, I'm just curious to know how long you have had the monitor for and if you have had any problems with it. More specifically I've been reading that in about a year or so, the screen blacks out and has various other artifacts. I just bought one for relatively cheap and am wondering if this was a good investment. Thanks
