Just purchased a new Dell 1905FP, installed it and so far so good. I am using the analog port for now until I purchase a video card with DVI output.

Is there anything I have to do to calibrate it?

I use this LCD mainly for text processing and web browsing. Will DVI improve the image substantially?
 
I read it somewhere that there are softwares which calibrate LCD.

Can someone give me some idea what to get and do?
